If you missed us at Design Mumbai, we introduced our newest collection Caravanserai at the show, a lovely display of a unique design perspective, a first of its kind narrative. Here’s a little insight on how Caravanserai came to life, and how we created our pieces based on our inspirations.
Caravanserai was born from a desire to craft a lasting narrative. Inspired by the historic caravanserais—ancient rest stops where travelers from diverse lands converged—this collection brings to life the spirit of exchange and unity. At its core, Caravanserai symbolizes the blending of cultures to create something unique. Each piece is an homage to the artisans and travelers who brought the world closer through their craft.
The collection invites you to travel without leaving your home. It’s an ode to the stories of travel and a celebration of cultures brought together in pieces that are as functional as they are artistic. Caravanserai channels this rich heritage, fusing it with modern sensibilities. Every piece embodies the essence of a journey—a reflection of the textures, patterns, and colors encountered along ancient trade routes and transforms them into furniture.
